MCC Functions & Working Groups

Advocacy
*   
Organize Capitol Hill team meetings with key Members of Congress, Staff and Committees.
*   
Engage participating organizations to focus on ed tech effectiveness and funding needs when conducting briefing with their members.
*   
Coordinate local site visits with Members of Congress and Staff in schools with strong technology intervention activities and programs.
*   
Conduct and expand grassroots efforts timed with key events and milestones.     

Outreach and Engagement
*   
Develop and maintain unified, consistent talking points and coordinate organizational messages around these.
*   
Coordinate press efforts in a timely fashion.
*   
Enlist new participants in the Campaign.  

Data Collection and Dissemination
*   
Compile and analyze research documents demonstrating positive impact of ed tech initiatives.
*   
Coordinate materials from campaign members, such as press releases, conference events, success stories from their members, in particular those using Title II-D and E-rate funds.
